  1. Chris Cotillo ‏@ChrisCotillo 10m10 minutes ago Source: Mark Buehrle currently not planning on playing next season but is not ready to officially announce retirement.
  2. it's called Thrift Shop you pleb!
  3. There are three defensive aspects to a positional player and only two of them are really an issue for 1B, so yeah I think it is easy.
  4. His throwing accuracy was a huge problem. His range and strength are below average.
  5. Matt Holliday was also spotted practicing 1B in Florida, he could be added to that list if the Cardinals make any OF moves.
  6. David Ortiz makes something like $15 million a year during those same years and Bautista is double the player he is. I don't think $20 million is a lot for him to ask, especially accounting for contract inflation.
  7. I've followed it long enough to know that Shawn Green and Delgado loved to slap each others butts in the shower!
  8. lol I'll be honest I totally thought it was Cito Gaston I f***ed up, I know!
  9. So Cito Gaston was kinda right!
  10. After seeing this I think he should ask 4 years, $20million at least.
  11. cause I'm lazy
  12. Royals resign Gordon, 4 years 72m
  13. "best stuff in the org" guy?
  14. That's fine, as long as they don't push it down their throats
  15. It doesn't hurt, but this is going to add another voice in players' head. If you are Travis and you crack under pressure because everyone expects you to be the next Howie Kendrick, are you going to listen to a consultant or will you listen to your managers and teammates who have been through pressure?
  16. Maeda's medicals are bust, contract is getting delayed a bit
  17. I listed those two pitchers because they were the two starting pitchers acquired by both teams. Hence the "lol" yankees bruh
  18. I'm guessing you know something that we don't know about a starting pitcher the Yankees acquired this offseason?
  19. took you 10 years to find out or are you just repeating yourself?
  20. I would agree with that line if we are comparing laterally (position players among one another), but you're comparing two different areas (pitching and bullpen). The 2014 Tigers are a great example of a team that beat the s*** out of other teams in the SP and position player department but neglected the bullpen. And they got swept in the playoffs thanks to it.
  21. But they improved, didn't they? And overpayment is not a factor to those teams at all, even if it was talent capital. Our bullpen is not fine. Osuna is a given as a closer, but after him, who can you rely on? Only Cecil. Sanchez is overrated and is only a ROOGY. Loup had s*** luck last year, true, but maybe he repeats his s***** performance? Who knows what we get out of Hutch if he is pitching out of the bullpen and out of the stretch all the time. Delaballs, Schltz and Tepera are all replacement level. Venditte is meh.
  22. lol you guys are taking these way too srsly original post indicated we haven't done a good enough job addressing our bullpen like the other two rivals made and then BTS pulls out the trump Donaldson card, as if that makes everything all that better. That doesn't make our bullpen any less comforting. sure thing brahs. Lets just hope we don't turn into the 2014 Tigers. http://i.imgur.com/tijLC1T.jpg
  23. Close, but I was going to do starters acquired
  24. I thought we were playing the position game ;(
  25. lol forgot about him fine Red Sox David Price Blue Jays JA Happ Yankees lol
