    It's pretty obvious it was Rogers' doing. The Bautista camp is not going to leak it for obvious reasons. The Jays need to leak it in order to get the shift of blame away from them (which they have successfully done, no one is going to want Bautista after this). They can't have the typical guys like Davidi or even Zaunie do it, so they'll leak it to a competitor.

    Still need all sides to agree though. Rogers has to agree to use the funds Shapiro and Co have to agree that Bautista is worth the money If we don't end up signing, expect either of the two to blame one another.

    Looks like Jose has a number and he's sticking to it. Probably not willing to budge from it. It will be interesting to hear the number down the road and whether it's reasonable or not. That being said, I have always felt we should be paying Bautista market value.
