    I was around to see most of those walks, and those pitches weren't even close. But Smoak is usually the guy to chase s*** pitches, so it really has been confusing watching him.

    Ideal pitcher: Stroman is a guy who has the repertoire to pitch to contact and to strike guys out. For some reason he has chosen one or the other, rather than use both depending on the situation. If the guy has a huge lead, I want him pitching to contact. If the score is close, let alone if there are many runners on, I thinnk he should go for the K rather than groundball.

    yeah his fastball command wasn't good. I don't think I saw a single slider too, guess he is afraid of bursting it again. Change-up is good enough though. lets see how it progresses..

    except based on what we've seen today, the game should be a slugfest. We have not capitalized and the same as the Orioles.
