    Good job from Bo and Vlad to not force it and get the BB Now we need the big hit with bases loaded

    WAR doesn't take into account what a 1B does to save base runners from bad throws and when you have someone like Bo was last year its extremely valuable, maybe so more than a good defensive OF. At the same time WAR gives automatic boosts based on position...regardless of how you play. The worst RF in baseball almost all time defensively (Soto) got a higher boost than Vlad. Not a chance in hell that should happen, but it does in WAR. Then you have range and difficulty of play and errors factored in. How many errors do great 1B save from the rest of the team committing (hundreds) for a great 1B...again a s*** hole RF gets more credit for just being a RF and having to jog to a ball and an unplayable SS gets an even higher boost It is flawed imo. Is there a better method...not yet. But flawed it is

    I just looked up the ranks... 13th on the Road in wRC+ 234th at Home This probably shouldn't be statistically possible unless you played at some 1850s stadium with no fence lol Randomly saw Kirk was 226th on the Road Some of player splits just don't make sense

    If he figures out how to hit at home wow. I really think its the batters eye and pressing. He hits everywhere else and then not at home is about the craziest stat I have seen

    JRod is 91st in wRC+ and Witt 125th in wRC+ They aren't worth contracts either right lol

    Would have loved like the 11th pitch for him to crush, but he fought off a lot of close/good pitches and had some powerful swings

    3 hits is about as bad as it gets. Terrible approaches, some bad swings, mechanical issues, a little bad luck...ugly offense

    You wouldn't know it...but coming into today, last 14 days Vlad's OPS is 100 pts higher than Bo Very interesting

    Funny thing is, with Vlad the tell is the exit velos coming back up that he is fixing things. If he wasn't robbed tonight by Semien he would have had 3 hits in 2 night over 110 mph...2 line drives. LA wise he is still needing to get it back up, but progress is being made positively
