  1. Castro will make the team out of ST.
  2. I have explained both why I think Norris and Sanchez are better than Estrada and why I believe neither will be in the minors. Go read the other threads again if you need to be relearn.
  3. Sanchez is clearly better than Estrada.
  4. Is that like 5 hits for the Orioles on essentially 4 errors
  5. He better do worse than Donaldson
  6. I'm not basing the decison on that I was just pointing out predictions are worthless to some extent. I'm basing my opinion on how well Sanchez pitched in the majors last year and this spring vs how hr happy crap tasting Estrada has done in my opinion over the same time vs weaker competition.
  7. That was the point. Numbers can predict someone will be better but when they actually play that prediction mean nothing. For all we know Bautista bombs and hits .200 this year. No one knows until we see it on the field. And right now Sanchez is doing better than Estrada.
  8. At the same time Sanchez could win the Cy young this year as a starter. I'd take the chance on the Pitcher who actually has talent and is putting it together (slowly)
  9. Post of the year so far!!!
  10. He could be the mop up man/long reliever and Redmond can get more of an 8th/7th inning role
  11. Anyone still think Estrada is a better option than Sanchez...lol
  12. Anything on Pompey...
  13. Oblique...please don't tell me that
  14. This isn't like a torn meniscus. If it's torn at all that surgery is required they will replace the ACL with a graft either from a tendon from his body or a cadavers
  15. At age 19...not 21 And I know for a fact players have signed elsewhere because they were held back for s*** reasons such as arbitration clocks, etc. I will not divulge their names because it's not my place to.
  16. Case...Trout, Mike....ever heard of him. I guess the Angels screwed themselves and his development. Really needed a couple more minor league seasons and that dang arbitration. Wonder if they are kicking themselves about that. How about Harper, Bryce. Hell I could name 100s of cases both ways. That's why holding for arbitration reasons is stupid as s***. You never know what will happen until they are in the majors. If they are ready they should play...period How about Chris Sale...played less games in the minors than just about everyone...how is he doing...
  17. So far he has been possibly our best reliever. He looks real good.
  18. This kind of thinking puts teams on a 20 year plan. We are done with that ********. If the player is ready they play. Most do need time in AAA...OTHERS DONT. We are done prospect hoarding as an organization. AA made that clear last year and now. Who gives a crap about arbitration clocks. That kind of thinking tells a prospect that they mean nothing but $ to the team and when they become free agents they bolt. Holding a player back for arbitration reasons is the stupidest thing I have ever heard.
