  1. He could be the mop up man/long reliever and Redmond can get more of an 8th/7th inning role
  2. Anyone still think Estrada is a better option than Sanchez...lol
  3. Anything on Pompey...
  4. Oblique...please don't tell me that
  5. This isn't like a torn meniscus. If it's torn at all that surgery is required they will replace the ACL with a graft either from a tendon from his body or a cadavers
  6. At age 19...not 21 And I know for a fact players have signed elsewhere because they were held back for s*** reasons such as arbitration clocks, etc. I will not divulge their names because it's not my place to.
  7. Case...Trout, Mike....ever heard of him. I guess the Angels screwed themselves and his development. Really needed a couple more minor league seasons and that dang arbitration. Wonder if they are kicking themselves about that. How about Harper, Bryce. Hell I could name 100s of cases both ways. That's why holding for arbitration reasons is stupid as s***. You never know what will happen until they are in the majors. If they are ready they should play...period How about Chris Sale...played less games in the minors than just about everyone...how is he doing...
  8. So far he has been possibly our best reliever. He looks real good.
  9. This kind of thinking puts teams on a 20 year plan. We are done with that ********. If the player is ready they play. Most do need time in AAA...OTHERS DONT. We are done prospect hoarding as an organization. AA made that clear last year and now. Who gives a crap about arbitration clocks. That kind of thinking tells a prospect that they mean nothing but $ to the team and when they become free agents they bolt. Holding a player back for arbitration reasons is the stupidest thing I have ever heard.
  10. Almost certain to make the Majors to start the season if he keeps pitching like that. Is his future in the bullpen for sure or still possibly a starter?
  11. Might start the season as the setup man and depending on CecilCecils recovery...closer...lol
  12. Screw this ******** about arbitration clocks and crying about development. Every player is different. If they can perform in the Majors play them.
  13. I like that idea...Probably costs too much though.
  14. I'm fine with Hamels as long as it doesn't cost us any of Sanchez, Norris, Castro, Osuna, Pompey
  15. This is the stupidest comment ever..White Sox are beyond all in and many believe will win the AL...not just make the playoffs like AA is playing for.
  16. White Sox...not both Starting pitcher, but multiple rookies with little experience above AA At the same time Sanchez has a lot of experience above AA...only Norris doesn't
  17. You can count on them. Every team does it. You just don't count on 20 of them each year. 1 or 2 is perfectly reasonable.
  18. It's obvious you don't understand how talented Norris and Sanchez are.
  19. If we had Lawrie still Stroman would have never tried for the ball cause he knows it's Lawries no matter what
  20. I guess no team should ever play a rookie then. Let's just end the sport after the last player turns 40
  21. Our depth isn't useless or garbage...its unknown.
  22. Did I say quality depth?...no, I said depth
  23. We have SP depth with Sanchez. We don't have bullpen depth. Just a bunch of players who will be thrown in there too early. I guess Castro and Osuna will make the bullpen now.
  24. Norris will have to pitch like Stroman last year and Sanchez pitch like everyone expected Norris to pitch this year.
