    You cant trade Pillar and possibly Pompey and have Carrera start in CF and Valencia in LF....if they keep Pompey and decide he can play everyday now....then Pillar can be traded

    Devon Travis, Osuna, possibly Pillar should be absolutely untouchable. We can not tradade for a starter by making our team extemely bad up the middle. We finally fixed our 10 yr 2B problem with Travis...he should go no where. Osuna is the only thing making our bullpen serviceable. Pillar should not be traded unless they are 1000% certain they will stick with Pompey. Sanchez, Norris, and Castro are all tradeable but only for star level returns. If not, keep them and trade the other prospects not named Rowdy, Alford, and Hoffman

    They shouldnt give up but if they use the extra money wisely we should bring in the some extra pitchers who are just as capable to go along with the prospects might make for a competition

    I wouldnt pencil in Hutch yet...the way he has pitched he will have to earn the spot come next season

    The problem we have is that AA has built a rotaion full of 1 trick pitchers. Dickey only throws a knuckleball, Buehrle is only good if he has supreme comand, Hutchison relies mainly on 2 pitches, Estrada is a crappy version of Buehrle but with only 2 pitches, Sanchez only throws fastballs (effective when in the zone). Good pitchers and pitching staffs have pitchers who can throw more than 2 pitches for strikes on a consistent basis. Our pitchers for most part only have 1 sometimes 2. This gives hitters a 50/50 chance to guess right resulting in more hits/runs.

    Predictive stats are not always correct...to assume Hutch will turn it around is just hoping on luck. He isnt garbage but he has been a bad pitcher most of this season.
