    He will get 20 million per over 5 years from some team. Will he take it or which team, I don't know. But someone will be dumb and take the chance.

    Your approach can change though game to game given the pitcher. Having a hitting coach who doesn't believe it day to day coaching of the hitters is a joke and has been the center of the offensive problems this year.

    This game it isn't really on him. Can't win if the offense can't get 2 hits or a run. But it is kind of fun to joke to lighten the mood a little. If we don't win. We are still tied for the top wild card. Just have to come out and play real baseball against Boston.

    Gibby doesn't like having a bunch of options. Instead of making the wrong decison 95% of the time it turns into 99% of the time. Gibby thinks the 4% matters like needing a closer for a 4 run lead

    Why wasn't Cecil in to make Wieters hit righty. Terrible managing. Every single game.

    That's what is wrong with this team...very little heart.

    So, sometime in the last 2 months a pitcher needed to call out this offense...unfortunately no one did that I remember. They kept thinking it would come back instead of realizing the league had adjusted to them and they needed to make changes to their approach.

    Agree. I'd like to see them go for it around Donaldson but there probably won't be enough to help him offensively unless we get creative/lucky.

    If that's the choice I'd reluctantly take Gibby another year.. .assuming we still see change at certain positions.

    Especially if he is as banged up as it looks when he runs. No reason to attempt the hard play when it could have been an easy out at home. On to the next play I guess. And Bautista continues to plummet lol. Another backwards K and Martin misses a pitch that Tebow could homer on lol

    The story of our season. Donaldson playing gimpy and the rest of the team pulling outside pitches or taking fastballs. Not the time to change from their approach the last week or so.

    Just thinking about it.. our team will look a bit different next season except for most likely the starting pitching. Might lose: Dickey Thole Bautista Edwin Saunders Grilli Cecil Gibby Hale Hitting coach #1 Hitting coach #2 I'm sure I missed a few as well. Just interesting that after a few years with virtually the same team we could be really different at this time next year.
