    Travis is not a negative WAR player. He is better than Harrison easily if healthy. Not his fault that 2 times in his career his injuries have not been properly handled by the medical staff

    Having them would be great...not at the price it will take to get Harrison though. Your paying the price for a starting infielder to play him as a backup (at least initially), which is not what we need to be doing if we want to compete at all next season

    I agree. Seems too redundant at this point ubless someone else could be on the move

    Also saw we were in strong consideration to try and get Harrison from the Pirates. I guess we would be trading one of our middle infielders...Travis most likely...or Donaldson? Would be way too many infielders I think

    I'd like to see us spend some money and make a few trades (not Vlad or Bo). We could challenge the Yankees if we get better at a few spots next season. If Stroman and Sanchez are at top form.....pitching beats hitting 2019 is looking great as well

    I don't think they will get Machado. Probably turn their sights on pitching.....what if they open the vault some more and sign Darvish lol

    It's possible, but for how long we have recruited him (the longest I believe), the relationship we already have, some of his reported "fits", the ability we have to let him play OF, DH, and pitch, and given the demographics of the city and truly huge fan base from coast to coast. We have a better chance that "a lot" of the teams

    I'm telling you all....we will get Ohtani. We are a small "market" team in a "large" city. With a fan base that reaches from coast to coast and where Ohtani can spend the offseason anywhere from the west coast to the east or in the States. So many options and we are in need of a star...especially one lime Ohtani that would instantly put us in title contention. We will be top 3 I think

    Is it good or bad that we haven't heard much about the Blue Jays in this regarding their pitch to Ohtani or in face meeting?

    You want to trade our best players and blow up the team because of a twitter comment. That there was nothing wrong with....wow

    Most likely scenario (Ohtani or not- which I think we get) is that the price is too high for teams for 1 season. Once teams see where they are and we play out the games to the trade deadline, we will have a grasp on our playoff odds. If they seem low, Donaldson will go the the highest bidder for something somewhat close to what teams would be offering now (not the same though)
