  1. Play marco polo with Pendelton until you find each other then
  2. Leaving to many pitches over the plate I think
  3. It's called good hitting and hitting the ball where it's pitched
  4. Total s*** from the White Sox. 2 singles and a walk equalled a run. Don't they know homer or it don't count lol
  5. Sox are going to pepper the outside corner tonight. Need to go oppo for a bit to get him over the plate/inside
  6. Wasn't on the ground so it's better than opening day lol
  7. Weather most likely doesn't help early in the season
  8. Hitting the ball hard is the goal. But we left more runners on 3rd with less than 2 outs than I have ever seen over the last 3 years. Hitting an opposite field single on a fastball away is a better use of an AB then whiffing on the same pitch trying to pull it for a HR....which over the last few years we have done more than we should. I think this year will be different hopefully
  9. Id take a HR over a single everyday, it's just not practical to have every player on your team do that though (unless you are the Yankees lol). Great teams score when it matters and in the playoffs pitching goes way up and homeruns go down. Meaning the ability to score via a double and a single is magnified. Is it noticeable during a 162 game schedule....yes, but not as blatant imo. There is a reason at the end of last year we ended up where we did....last place in runs (AL) and dependent on the HR. Weren't we like 40%+ runs off the HR. I think we were most in the AL or 2nd most by far. Also, I believe only 1 team ever has won the World Series and lead baseball in HRs (could be wrong on that but I thought I read that somewhere). So, overall....HRs rule, but you have to score other ways to be great
  10. You missed his point. He is right. Championship teams are not solely dependent on the HR. Houston was not HR or nothing, they had a complete offense that's why they were great. Being 2nd in HRs and having the ability to score in a hundred diff ways
  11. Blue Jays Win!!!!!!!!! Osuna Matata!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. Exact same pitch to Donaldson and he takes it oppo!!!!!!!!! That's where you should hit that pitch...the bleachers!
  13. 96 dead center of the plate...I haven't seen pitching this good in years:rolleyes:
  14. The whole team minus 2 batters basically do this. Beyond frustrating and can be exploited
  15. Lopez looked bad that inning....still no runs
  16. Even wild to first Come on Blue Jays get a freaking hit!!!!
  17. Yes partly. But dude has missed his location every other pitch it seems.....that's by design right lol. It has been effective but isn't some amazing display of pitching imo
  18. Heck no. I'm not too impressed with Garcia. Has been overly wild imo and gotten them to chase some which has helped a lot. Lopez has looked good on a few pitches but the last 2 innings has been a lot...I mean a lot of hit table pitches with little break. His slider carried him the first inning and it has flattened a bunch.
  19. Real question is will we get a hit. Lopez has again been ok but not amazing. Lots of 96 right down the middle mise in with a few good sliders. We should be doing way better than this imo. Hopefully they got a feel for him and tee off this time around
  20. Which one...there is only 12 of them on the roster cards tonight lol
