    Kevin Smith, who is one of the best batters in Triple-A baseball right now, left Wednesday night’s game in the bottom of the 3rd. The shortstop attempted to make a play at second base but bobbled the ball and made the throw to first. Smith then collided with the runner heading to second and left the game shortly after.     Its not his and the one he usually uses. He changed from his maroon one when we started facing pitchers who threw slow. My guess its much heavier and that's why he was using it the last week and a half. He has been frustrated multiple times the last week or so despite having a 9 game hit streak

    Before he fell down the stairs, he was throwing 91 to begin innings to I assume get ahead/stay under control. At the middle/end of innings closer to 93-95
