    I think he can, he wasn't accurate with it after the first game at all and they (or him) had him dial it back to throw strikes

    Vlad's approach has changed and he is pressing 1st AB: ground out slider outside corner 2nd AB: flyout slider just off the outside corner 3rd AB: walk 4th AB: ground out changeup outside He isnt getting any cookies like everyone else and he is expanding (still strikes), but he needs to hit his pitch if he can, not a pitchers pitch. His season he has done an amazing job of doing that. Since we came back to Toronto he has been swing happy (like everyone)

    Seems we have gotten really swing happy the last few weeks. Routinely giving the other team small pitch counts per inning. If its working great, but I think good pitchers and smart teams have caught on

    He looks pretty skinny in that pic above. I think obviously he is going to gain some weight during the season because he lost so much and hasn't been able to do the long workouts. Stills looks pretty great to me in terms of weight
