    Depends on what you are using said exit velocities to determine. Max is pretty useless other than to show the top end of a prospects potential power basically. Avg exit velocities are better to determine the quality of contact a hitter generates on a consistent basis. When prospects are consistently making hard contact thats a good time to take notice
