    Let's go around the diamond right now... Martin, Smoak, Travis, Barney, Coghlan, Carrera, Pillar, Bautista. Our DH is now the only hitter capable of consistently hitting the ball more than 250 feet.

    Pure 1 dimensional hitters will always age pretty poorly if they never make adjustments. His eye is still very good though

    This is the kind of pace of play issues that need to be addressed. What's it been... 9 minutes since the last pitch? Just because they didn't have a reliever ready they send out a bunch of delay tactics, then the long pitcher change...

    I say 81, just because I have faith that Shatkins knows we are not true contenders and will jettison the movable old guys regardless of their record. 50 wins would probably kill the market for the next 3 years and then you'd have rogers whining about attendance and pretending they can't spend money , when it's common knowledge now that gate attendance is nowhere near as important as it used to for revenue.

    At the time it was dubbed the 8th wonder of the world. Everyone marvelled at the first fully retractable stadium roof in the world. It's arguable that the skydom set the standard for which new stadiums for big sports teams are now being buit. BUUUUUT..... all those other guys learned from what the dome did wrong and they now build stadiums specific to the sports they host rather than trying to be super-multi-everything-plexes.

    I think they're handcuffed to it because Derozan can't create his own shot and he's an awful ball handler. Everything that runs through him has to be slow and deliberate or he's screwed. Double team him and he's effectively useless. Raps hitched their wagon to the wrong type of player. The bigger question is when the Raps get blown out of the playoffs again because of it, does it make sense to resign Lowry?
