    He answered that question. There's no answer... to me, atheists are no different than religious nuts. RN say "theres a god cause i say so" ..and athiests say" theres no god cause i say so" ..it really boils down to that.

    Another fascinating this is near death experiences and out of body experiences.. I mean, you have to weed out the majority of crackpots who could just as likely say they kidnapped by aliens.. But the intelligent, established people who may or may not havd been religious when it happened.. But at the very least, something clearly triggers in the brain to make that vision...not claiming its aupernatural but the stories are a fun read

    I dont think you would find many even there. I dont know if atheists are the most researched in the matter. I think most scientists highly doubt God..but from what we know..i dont think many take the step of completely dismiss it. Thats what i found to be true reading up on it

    To Dinger: So how did the universe come to be. Getting nothing from nothing.. And from then., everything had such a precise order and one law. I mean theres theories out there but i think one should feel secure with their belief in that regard befofe dismissing anything supernatural

    I know this board is made up of mostly atheists. Im a agnostic Monotheist myself..dont believe in much of revealed religion.. But do atheits think Jesus actually existed and just wasnt God (like a preacher).. Or just that his life is a fairy tale?

    Well it was very predictable how it turned out.. But it was prob funny at one point because Tanaka wanted Yu money..but GM's were saying "Yu only gets part of that"..and agents are like "so f***ing what, total dollars are the same".

    Steroid issue aside.. Voters should be disbarred for purposely not voing for someone first ballot because "they arent Derek Jeter"...or any past legend. Its stupid and shows the writers have a clear bias. On steroids..idk..i guess you can only hang the people that got linked. But we dont know if Griffey, Jeter, and other guys like that were using.. Actually or even that the best power hitter now (Davis) is even clean.. The whole thing is shadowy deal

    Yeah I understand why Japan team would get $. Just that he should be FA after that. But sounds like he is. So he can pick the team he goes to after knowing what theyre offering?

    Well I understand why they wouldnt do it that way. That way, the Japan team wont know the amount upfront and wouldnt know if it was worth it before allowing their player to take time and effort away from Japan ball to do the mlb FA thing, travel to US and such. But he should at least just be FA once Japan team agrees on $20m
