I can’t fault your logic but we’ll see. All I can say is that at the face of it, it looks completely out of whack. The suspension. I think anyone objective can see that. So we’re just left with your logic that there has to be a treasure trove of other stuff. I’m not saying that isn’t possible. I mean if it’s closer to Bauer’s version where she left with a split lip, how is a split lip during rough sex worse than some of these other 20 game suspensions for a split lip from DV? Same goes for him choking girls during sex. Pretty sure some of those DV cases involved real choking. Either there’s a bombshell coming Bill Cosby style, or it’s getting reversed

No Jim. There was no revolt they would’ve happened. A simple statement disagreeing with the law would’ve been enough for normal people. They expect companies to be companies just like you do. Disney did what they did for the same reason the NBA/MLB did what they did with AS games. It was not for financial benefit, or fear of financial loss, it was to be woke. They thought that was the right thing to do. I think they tried doing the same thing with the NBA again. Same woke activists complaining something about Utah law. The NBA Commish shot it down this time and was like “we can’t be moving games all over the place for this reason or that reason, there’s always something” … that’s a fair recap I think. Anyways, after this Disney debacle, I think you’ll see more of a shift to more neutral positions by corporations. The move by Florida, while I agree is a legal stretch, is actually popular with people in Florida. So they clearly catered to the small minority

When I first read about it, I thought he was a very sick puppy. Punching some girl in the vagina, raped her in the butt while passed out, fractured her skull etc… it was basically presented as facts and that formed peoples opinions…but all of those points are highly contested as far as if it happened…so idk.. the rough sex would be a lot easier to look past if those kind of things are left out

That only seems logical based on the erroneous initial reports that biased our opinions in the matter. Could’ve been much closer to “normal” rough sex. We’ll have to see what the mlb dirt brings. The only way this punishment makes sense after the original accusers version was thrashed would be he’s a serial abuser

Going back to baseball.. who is really giving up baseball bc they don’t like Trevor Bauer. You’ll have a couple woke people that cancel their season tickets…but everyone has a short memory with that stuff…he’s a net positive asset by helping them win games and play deep into the playoffs. The bigger worry with him though is the rumor he’s not wanted back in the clubhouse

Your theory of everything is wrong. For entry decision that’s made to appease to the wokes, you lose people on the other side. There’s no proof appeasing wokes is better than the people on the right. Companies are being pressured into taking a position on things and their decision of where to lay their chips is based on where they think the moral compass is pointed towards. And that just comes down to who has the loudest voice
