    Depends on the names bro. If you can land a front line SP for instance, yeah you could get bounced in the playoffs but you do a lot to increase your chances. You can keep your prospects and they can turn into s***. Not guarantees any way that you go

    As has been brought up, “selling the farm at the deadline” will likely have nothing to do with making the playoffs. Rather, while the playoffs can be a crapshoot, you can still optimize your roster for a better chance. Jays definitely need playoff roster optimization

    I’m sure he’d be content to make it out of the East. Nobody scary there unless Boston takes next step (I mean they won the East but barely). Mia isn’t really scary. Philly is always good for 2nd round loss and Harden on downturn

    Man they really let Hatch take it up the hatch to save the pen arms. They why Kooch just needs to be a little better. It kind of sucks paying for a 5th SP, but if your options are what the Jays have tried to toss our last couple years, it’s worth it imo
