  1. Yeah it was enough to see the true problems with this team. There's no way they can be any better than a 11th-7th at best with the current roster and coach. The offense is a complete mess. They never go to JVal, its all isos. They can't shoot threes either. But the real problem is Casey, he has no idea what he's doing with the offense. Also his rotations are atrocious. The point is the sooner we start to tank the better chance we have at Wiggins. Unless they replace Casey or make some trades this roster is bound for the 8th seed at best and a sweep vs. the Heat.
  2. I take this back. Gay is absolutely horrendous. But Dwanye Casey is ten times worse. I've never seen a worse offense than the Raps right now. Just isos and chucked shots. Casey is abysmal. Blow it up, time to trade Gay and Lowry before their value drops too far. Wigginsornothing.

Here's a good article about the Leafs 3 centers: http://www.pensionplanpuppets.com/2013/10/29/5025720/Tyler-Bozak-Maple-Leafs-Analysis
  4. The only person it makes sense to tank for is Wiggins. I know it's a deep draft, but I don't think anyone outside the top 3 is worth giving up what we have. And it's too hard to guarantee Wiggins, so for that reason I'm for trying to make the playoffs.
  5. I actually didn't watch the 4th cuz of the Leafs game, but the Gay I saw chucking up shots in the third quarter was pretty bad.
  6. If the Celtics get Wiggins I will lose it. Considering everyone I know if a Boston fan this has been a terrible year.

It all the goalies keep the Leafs in the games. There's some luck in there, but mostly the great play of the goalies. Also they probably look extra bad tonight cuz of the b2b.
  9. Gay and Derozan were terrible. Hansbrough and Fields looked great. Ross was decent, JV was decent. Their offense looked terrible for the most part. Almost every shot came with 5> on the shot clock.
  10. They definitely got the players in a more effective way, but just looking at the players compared to the Jays its night and day. Izturis, Boni, Melky, JJ, Dickey, Reyes, Thole, Blanco, Santos, Lincoln all worse than expected by a good bit. The only guy who did better than expected was Delabar.
  11. There has to be a good amount of luck to have all of these guys do so well
  12. Raps start off 4-19, Leafs historic collapse and then the Jays disaster capped off by this. Great year guys
  13. I had a couple Boston fans tell me in April that they weren't excited for the season at all, and that they didn't care because they were going to be so bad. Of course I was telling them how bad Farrell was, and now they think he's the best manager ever. It must so nice/easy to be a Boston fan...
  14. I've never liked baseball less than I do right now. It's been a steady decline since the beginning of the 2012 season.
  15. Pretty much everyone was better than expected. I guess that's what it takes. Just take a look at those BABIPs...

So Kadri's more valuable than Reimer and Rielly? BTW I know it would take more than just Reimer, and I don't want to trade him anyway so it doesn't matter.

Wow Kessel is unbelievable when he goes on these streaks.

Ok the first two might be accurate but the raps one is way off lol. Derozan seems like a great guy, hard working, getting better every year and really wants to improve. Gay is a great player, but is overpaid.

Kessel! I'm glad we've got this guy locked up. All it took was one shift for Kadri to make an impact on the first line.

I'm not expecting a career turnaround. I'm just saying that he's playing much better than he was at the end of last year when I thought he was abysmal at times. He's probably overrated, but I think he's a good player and I hope they resign him, but not at that price.
