Tanaka's splitter is so good and he'll throw it probably twice in any given at bat. You got to just guess sometimes and start your swing lower than the ball and hope you square it up. You will look foolish on a fastball though,but sometimes you got to roll the dice. Reyes looked looked like he saw fastball on every splitter, completely unacceptable at this level.

Lets see if Tanaka gets those strikes that Stroman wasn't getting this inning. This inning will tell the tale for sure.

The Yankees MUST make the playoffs every year folks. It's good for the game and makes the league loads of ca$h. Everybody,especially a Canadian team,will screwed over at Yankee stadium.

First of all, there was one out. Secondly, with a tough lefty on the mound, it would have been difficult for Reyes to steal.

You guys are all f***ing dumb. Melky went up key holing a first pitch fastball ( which is what you usually get in that situation after a walk) and got a fat fastball that he just plainly missed. Melky crushes that same pitch, when looking for it, 70% of the time.

If a player continuous swings at the same thing over and over again with two strikes on him, he needs to sit or get sent down. You're down by two, shorten up and take the walk or put it in play. f***.

Holy f*** Francisco. He's strong enough with two strikes to let the ball travel a bit more. Why does he over commit so much with two strikes?
