You just knew the Jays would be up for a series where all the pressure is on their opponents. Best possible mind set to go into a game with.

One thing about Pompey which is really encouraging towards a long MLB career. His plate discipline gets him into hitter's counts pretty consistently, and to top it off, he really knows how to keyhole a 2-0,3-1 pitch. This kid is here to stay.

His arm is average, Gose has a much better arm. His range is pretty similar though and combined with a what looks to be a plus switch hitting bat, he'll be our starting CF. Let's not forget he's a good base stealer also (30-40). -

The argument is that Drew is not worth the money this year and definitely not worth a 1/5-6 type deal next year, IMO.

Goins was not a negative value player last year.

Jose Bautista and Nelson Cruz say hi, amongst many others who vastly improved in their mid to late 20's.

Andrelton Simmons says hi (not that Goins is as good defensively,but he's not far off)
