He played SS in college,so I guess he has a decent arm. I'm trying to get some info on his defence. I saw a few videos from college, and he has a short compact swing. He appears not to be afraid to let the ball travel, which is a great ingredient in a batter's approach.

I wouldn't say ignorable. He puts the ball in play with a fantastic BB/K ratio. Great speed and base stealer for a guy his size (6'1 200). He obviously has good pitch recognition skills, as he has great OBP numbers for the past 2.5 years. Baseball is a funny game and there are plenty of late bloomers, especially from the colder climates.

Locastro is also from upstate NY. Cold weather players are always behind in their developmental stages. He's radar worthy for the next few years.

Question.. Is Tim Locastro a legit prospect? He's turning 23 in July and is currently in Lansing. He had fantastic numbers in Vancouver last year and is currently putting up nice numbers in Lansing. Second baseman with crazy speed and OBP skills. 32 SB last year (4 CS) and 17 SB so far this year (4 CS). How does his defence play?
