    I don't see why JB or EE wouldn't waive their no trade clauses, especially when they'll be going to a contender. Play a few months in a new city while trying to win a World Series and you're a free agent afterwards regardless. Let's hope they don't pull a Mats Sundin on us.

    I'll guarantee you that Ortiz hits the ball the other with RISP with the shift on more often than Saunders does. I'm not comparing anyone to Ortiz, but the fact that a ball player of his stature is willing to sacrifice a bit of power to knock in a run when it's handed to him just goes to show he's team oriented. Maybe Saunders just doesn't possess the talent. I don't know.
