  1. f***, we're back to the Fergie Olver / Don Chevrier days.
  2. "Beltre knew in his heart he checked his swing" Mr. Pat Tabler
  3. Barney almost had a major mental meltdown. Why are you concerned with forcing him at second?
  4. Tabby and Devlin were sleeping on that HR.. LOL Barney !!
  5. You don't think that pitch to JD was a strike? It was a good pitch, right on the black. Smoak comes through again.
  6. Using DSJ to PH for Goins is probably not a good tactical move, especially with the lack of OF depth atm.
  7. Lot of season left. Gibby did him a big favour by moving him out of the lead off spot.
  8. I agree but Martin is a high OBP guy and should be good with the hit and run, as he's strong hitting to the right side. Gibby probably doesn't want to mess with JD's AB's by applying the hit and run to them. While Bautista is not that fleet a foot, whether Pillar , Goins or Barney are hitting ninth, they all have decent speed to execute a hit and run and are capable in reaching third on a base hit or scoring on a double.
  9. Because Pillar was moved out of the lead off spot? WTF does that have to do with anything? I was never a supporter of him batting lead off, period.
  10. Pillar, Martin and Tulo with the night off. DSJ batting second is beyond retarded. How can you justify DSJ hitting ahead of JD, Smoak and Morales? Bat DSJ sixth and move everyone in front of him up a spot.
  11. I've come to the conclusion that Kevin Pillar is not a very smart individual, not even moderately. Good athlete, good physical tools but has no clue on how to apply them offensively due to having a peanut sized brain.
  12. Two hits through five innings vs this scrub is nerve racking, although some bad luck.
  13. i think JaysAllMighty was being sarcastic saying that he's old. 34 is definitely not old, especially to guys like us.
  14. I agree.. Martin JD Bautista Morales Smoak Pearce Tulo Pillar Goins/Barney
  15. How the f*** is Martin or Pearce not hitting ahead of Tulo?
