    Agreed. When Trout turned his back on the ball, Granderson should have broke off the bag. Just reading the flight of the ball in itself when it was getting close to the wall should have been read better. Granderson was cemented on the bag at second tagging up as if on of the outfielders were camped under it. You have to read the footwork of the outfielder, if you see their heals for the most part, then there's a decent chance it goes off the wall at least,so bounce off the bag a bit. If the catch is made, you still have a good chance of getting back and tagging up with the outfielder's momentum going into the wall. Horrible instincts all around. ,

    I noticed Connor Fisk went four scoreless innings on 50 pitches in his last outing in Buffalo. I wonder what their plans are with him, stretch him out? I don't think he's given up a run yet this year and his walk rate is low. You would think he'd be put on the 40 man and called up by now to help the pen, unless they're stretching him out to start.

    Mind boggling. He pulls Axford who gave up three softly hit singles, but leaves in Clippard who is struggling with his command.

    Nice opportunistic window developing for Bichette to take the second base starting role at some point next year. Hopefully he breaks out of his slump soon and takes this opportunity.

    It's a guaranteed MLB deal, not sure for how much though. I would guess in the neighbourhood of $1M retroactive to today. Hopefully the Mets give him a decent run. In the case he fails, he can at least walk away content.
