  1. I would think Happ or Rogers signifies surrender, Loup maybe? I dont think anyone else is warming up.
  2. F me, these pitches are not even close to strikes. Damn his arm is toast.
  3. i noticed this as well.
  4. thanks guys, i must really be desperate for ball to watch this.
  5. 4th OF....., boy am i missing Rajai right now. Miniscule sample size, but he is playing well in the D, has 5 sb already. yet another off season botch job.
  6. As much as Happ is sucking, i do feel a little bad for him. I remember watching him, the game he got hit, at the time he was looking like he would be one of our better pitchers that year. Aint been the same since. Gun shy? maybe, or maybe that brief "good" window he had was a fluke. Either way, this team is not going anywhere with how much time we spend trying to catch "lighting in a bottle" This team can afford to cut ties with players like this. Amongst themselves they need to learn how to admit a damn mistake and move on.
  7. also found it interesting how completely beat up those paws look.
  8. as a pitching coach myself, i will love to show this to my kids.

  10. I thought sierra was to play at 1b a week ago or so. I must have missed it, but how did he look out there?
  11. yep, I guess we will be seeing that lineup most of the year until the inevitable injury bugs strikes. It aint that bad looking save that blackhole at the bottom.
  12. wow what a dismal bottom half of the lineup, Hutch needs to be razor sharp today.
  13. I get it, he is -ok-, but if you are only patching up one hole in a leaky boat, and have NO intention of trying to fix the others, why spend that much money on one year. Fine, it isnt my money, what difference does that make? We don't know that the money saved doesnt go elsewhere productive, but at this point we know it would not go towards any other fixes. If it was true about the QO, then there is no way I ever pay 14m to someone who has no intention of staying, unless of course Santana were that final bump to push us over the top towards contending, which I dont think he is.
  14. IMO he wasnt going to make or break our season. Spending 14m for the sake of spending 14m is not wise in my books. Sure he eats innings, but I still think there is too many holes to spend that much for 1 year on someone who is using us as a stepping stone for greater things. My opinion.
  15. I think people were starting to like Santana because he was something, anything, a warm body that was not from our current stockpile of "lighting in a bottle" former prospect signings. I wouldnt have been thrilled with Santana and his questionable arm anyway. Glad to see him not come. But wow, had there been a more disappointing off season in years? Just watching Edwins and Baus usefull years go down the toilet.
  16. now if everyone else hit, I could live with his blackhole bat with decent D
