  1. Yeah people acting like a 2-1 lead being an easy win if we don’t use Little are insane. Pretty damn good chance the Mariners at least tie the game by the 9th. We lost the game because of failure to execute on the offensive side combined with some bad bounces. One of those classic games where the jays have 7 hits (5 of them doubles) and 2 walks yet only score 2 runs. We’ve seen it before this season. Just gotta win the next game.
  2. It was some insane cherrypicking to get that 6 ERA number, basically using August 28th as the start point because that was a bad outing for him.
  3. The final Yankees game kinda? And Hoffman gave up ALOT of hard contact and could’ve potentially blown that game. Maybe soured the internal opinion on him.
  4. Too bad that doesn’t seem to be working for the Mets. I still think the Ohtani deferrals s*** is BS and goes against the integrity of competitive balance and shouldn’t be allowed.
  5. lollll classic. Having such a strong opinion when you don’t even have the facts
  6. I feel like the front leg is more important for hitting. Hurt my back foot really bad at the end of this season, but couldn’t really feel it hitting. You transfer all the weight forward just before contact so your front side is more important IMO. He’ll probably lose power and the running will be questionable, but he may be able to play through.
  7. Oh stop it with this. Nobody EXPECTS them to win both. But its very possible, not a longshot at all. Jays have been beasts at home all year, and games 1/2 of this series doesn’t change that.
  8. This organization has been consistent in their dismissal of the short sample size and playing the long game looking at a larger body of work. Except when it comes to hitting matchups for some reason…
  9. I’ve been on the Schneider hate-train since the 2022 wildcard BS and i’ve been consistent about it. But im not gonna get upset about this, we don’t have a clear option to go to in tight games like this. Nobody has been reliable and consistent enough. Thats on Atkins for not getting a lockdown guy like Duran or Miller at the deadline.
  10. Yeah, but people complain about Little all the time, pretty much every time he pitches and usually he’s OK. This time he sucked. I feel like Little gets way too much hate for the kind of numbers he’s put up on the season. Yes, the walks are bad but overall, he usually does a good job. that being said, I don’t think this was the right time to use him.
  11. Right you can semi-justify it if you squint a bit. Not the right move IMO, wouldn’t have done it myself. And it backfired spectacularly. But its not out of nowhere.
  12. I don’t think this game has any affect on the front office’s decision to keep John or not
  13. No baseball today… thanks a lot Brewers you bums
  14. Tldr We need more/better lock-down relievers because we kinda don’t have any. I think we can all agree on this.
  15. Because a bunch of weenies think they could have won the game if they managed things differently. Idk if you noticed, but there’s a lot of big egos around here and people that refuse to acknowledge that baseball has a s*** ton of luck involved at the end of the day.
  16. Right? People acting like they wouldn’t have been just as angry at Schneider for using Hoffman in the 8th there if he blew it. Reality is, we lost this game because the bounces didn’t go our way and we didn’t capitalize on the gazillion chances we had to score runs tonight. s*** happens. Even if Little goes 1-2-3, Hoffman easily could have blown it in the 9th.
  17. Jeez that’s an all-time no show by the Brewers. Would’ve been a better series with the Cubs lol. So glad the Jays were able to make it a series vs the Mariners.
  18. Maybe i’d rather ***** about John Schneider on the other thread!
  19. This Japanese dude is something
  20. The difference is im not acting like MY decision is objectively better than what happened. I can see nuance. You cannot, because you always think you’re right. And you’re too emotional.
  21. I would really love to know which of these decisions come from the front office and which dont. Mayza vs Santana, Pulling Berrios, IKF starts, Schneider benched, Little tonight… Seems like so many bad decisions in just a few short years.
  22. Exactly what I posted earlier. Feels the exact same, using a meh reliever vs a switch hitter when the analytics don’t even back it up.
