  1. Yeah he’s more Mark Buehrle than Max Scherzer. Not necessarily a bad thing, he’s just not really Ace/#1 quality.
  2. The difference in this game was a couple of s*** hits by Cleveland in that 5th inning… Ah well. Get em tomorrow
  3. Jays wearing the baby blues way too often IMO
  4. Wow nice to have a 2-0 lead right off the bat
  5. I believe he’s there, but not on the roster yet
  6. Better to just ignore it and enjoy watching the game. We could whine about the lineup almost every single game with genius Charlie in charge
  7. The answer is that they probably feel that the lineup construction ultimately doesn’t matter. I think I recall a study that shows over the course of an entire year, the worst possible lineup every day vs the best possible lineup every day amounts to +\- 1 win or something.
  8. There's no way the front office is deciding to bat Tapia 1st and Kirk 8th. Kirk still projects to be the 2nd or 3rd best hitter in today's lineup.
  9. "They told him that they can't afford what he's worth, and he told them that he didn't care," Nieves said. "He wanted to stay there, and they made it work. He knows that he left money on the table, but he says, '$150 million or $200 million, my life is gonna be the same. I'm happier with $150 million in Cleveland than $200 million somewhere else.'" Honestly, nice to see an athlete actually admit the facts, show some loyalty and stay true to his heart and what he wants. Good for him on securing that bag, Cleveland should be kissing his feet for the next decade
  10. Saw him go to a knee on one swing yesterday… telltale sign he’s hurt something. He should NOT be available off the bench, give the guy a full day off
  11. Also has 2 hits: deep drive off the CF wall for a single (lol) and a liner off the green monster for an RBI single.
  12. Ohtani pitching a gem vs the Redsucks rn 7 IP, 11 Ks, 6 H, 0 BB
  13. Yeesh. Tap probably leading off then
  14. Kikuchi is good as long as he stays in the zone. Also gotta drill it into his head to throw the fastball more and cutter less
  15. Yup, team record could easily be .500 or worse right now without the great pitching we’ve gotten from guys like Gausman, Cimber, Romano, Stripling and even Kikuchi tonight
  16. Its gonna be a grounder. Question is will it find a hole?
  17. Heineman noodle arm aint gonna catch Locastro running… Romano has to bear down here
  18. Nice reference bro. He’ll get the outs. Its all good man
  19. Gotta use as many pitchers as possible duh
