    Yeah not really sure why Manoah gets first start over Gausman… maybe they’re doing this for the fans? Perception across the fandom (and even MLB network guys) is that Manoah is our best starter. Whatev, end of the day it doesn’t really matter. Maybe Gausman needs an extra day or two to deal with a nail issue or something.

    Oh true, what an anticlimactic way to end his Phillies career. Maybe he comes back on a 1 year deal if other teams are worried about the knee? Probably best for the Phills to move on from him though, they have enough DH types as is

    Agreed. Its to stretch the pitchers out though. Maybe we should have like 2-3 weeks of games, and have pitchers report 2-3 weeks earlier and get stretched out to 50ish pitches on their own before the actual games start? IDK what the solution is

    Its hard. Dude was one of the most consistent sub-4 ERA/200 inning guys in the majors, and the minute we ink him he turns into a pumpkin. Just need him to hover around 4 ERA for the contract to be worth it though, there’s hope

    The US vs Cuba semi was embarrassing. Some of the early round games were gross. But most of the games involving PR, DR, Venezuela, Mexico, Japan, Taiwan, Italy, etc were all great entertainment

    Also would be nice if Canada could actually have some arms next time around, guys like Siroka, Pivetta, Romano etc. would be great.

    Yup lets see if we actually get an all-star quality starting rotation next time around. The bullpen was pretty good outside Bard who really struggled, but still some great names. Rotation was Lance Lynn + corpse of Waino + scrubs. USA can do so much better than that. Maybe get some hungry younger guys next time around… Strider, Manoah, Bieber, Webb, etc…

    0 chance Ohtani remains an Angel past 2023. Trout is kinda stuck there I think.
