    I took a look and Springer’s pull% is down a good 10% from his career norms. Easily explains the power sap we’ve witnessed. Something in the org is stinky, whether its a front office philosophy or just the coaches

    I think most will agree this is the worst “good” Jays team we’ve ever seen. Could just be a byproduct of us being used to offense-first teams, when this team is clearly a pitching-first team. Offensive teams are just more fun, plain and simple. See 2015 Jays, 2023 Rangers, etc.

    He hasn’t even looked BAD per say, I can remember that Boston game where he was smoking line drives to the outfield and ended up with 0 hits. He’s still having good/competitive at bats, but maybe the front office has noticed other teams exploiting a weakness in him lately. Kinda makes me think they’re hiding him on the bench to keep his numbers up and hoping to trade him in the offseason.
