  1. Lol. Some well-deserved humble pie for Vlad
  2. Its like you never mentally matured past age 20 or something
  3. This division is tough af, and it seems like nothing ever clicks all at once for the Jays. f***ing cursed. Watch the bullpen implode next season while the offense is electric.
  4. Just don’t forget that AAs highest win total with the Jays was 93, once. Never over 90 besides that one season
  5. Jesus that’s alot
  6. + everyone still acts like he’s some generational talent. Including he himself.
  7. Yep. Could see them doing this with IKF and Turner at 3rd too, would allow them to start Vladdy and Horwitz in the same lineup
  8. We got rid of King years ago, idk what more you want
  9. And it took an extremely weak division that year too. 93 wins was first place with a 6 game lead lol. These days you need close to 100 wins to take the ALE.
  10. No you don’t. You hope White continues sucking balls and that Frasso becomes the best closer in the league, just so you can say “haha told you so”
  11. Kevin Gausman was DFAd by the Braves in in 2019 and also non-tendered by the Reds. Dumbass Jays gave him 100+ million smh
  12. It’s really hard to trust the prospect lists these days outside of the top 20ish guys. Its all such a crapshoot.
  13. Nick Frasso is AT THE VERY LEAST an ELITE back-end bullpen arm Hurrdurr
  14. I can’t see it happening this year. Hard to see the Jays at only .500 or below by the deadline. And even so, they might still hold onto the current roster and give it one more shot in 2025. Remember how Donaldson was handled? Yeah.
  15. Went from 4th to 19th in 2022 after graduating Manoah and Kirk, trading SWR and Austin Martin… Why such a drop from 2023 rankings to 2024?
  16. Traded an entire roster worth of guys and didn’t even make it the the WS. And only a handful of playoff appearances
  17. CJ Abrams possibly. Makenzie Gore. Plus maybe others in the Soto trade. And a bunch of guys they traded to the Rays for Snell… and the cubs for Darvish. Idk they just completely obliterated their farm within the span of 2 years while Overpaying on some big contracts like Machado, Bogaerts, Darvish, etc.
  18. Doubt it. But who knows, hard to tell if the new ownership is actually involved at all yet or not.
  19. Return seems light for a guy as good as Burnes. Ortiz and Hall are likely decent everyday players, but usually you’re looking for an impact player when trading an Ace like Burnes
  20. Seems like a dumb trade for the Brews?? f***ing hell….
  21. That’s encouraging, if you did a poll around here I think most would say Springer is washed and an albatross. I still think he’s got a couple years left in the tank. Just had a down year last year like most if the lineup.
  22. - Davis Schneider wants a word - You hurt Bowden Francis’ feelings - Throwing your manager under the bus is completely reasonable - Alcoholism is nothing to joke about
  23. Its extremely puzzling that Nate Pearson hasn’t been a lockdown reliever like Bautista for the Os. He has the repertoire, the frame, the elite Velo… disappointing player.
  24. Idk man, based off what Polanco cost I dont think we’ll be involved there
  25. Yup he was supposed to be a franchise cornerstone player like Pujols. He’s had exactly 1 season where he showed he’s that guy but the other 3 seasons have been disappointing. We were hoping Vlad would be more like Pujols or Freeman, instead he’s been more like Mark Teixeira-Lite or Prince Fielder-Lite
