    Yeah its not bad. Would you sign Springer for 3/75 right now? Probably not, but that’s because he had a bad year last season and he’s getting up there in age. He still projects for more WAR than Cody Bellinger, who just signed a 3/80 deal. Recency bias plays a major role here. We’ll see in 2024 if Springer is over the hill or not.

    Mmmm maybe but I wouldn’t be surprised to see him bounce back this year in a big way. I don’t think he’s washed after 1 bad season (where most of the team underperformed offensively) He had a record-high number of steals and remained healthy which is a better indicator of him still not being done.

    He knows next to nothing about baseball. If it was up to him, Nathan Lukes would be the everyday RF over Springer.

    Im saying I don’t give a s*** that its Joey votto, he’s dogwater at this point. Vogelbach would be a much better bench piece. Look at any projections. End of the day its the 26th spot so really who gives a f***.

    The difference in projections are almost 20 points in wRC+, its not negligible
