If this was an elimination game for us, I’d agree. But its not. You don’t use bullets like Gausman IMO because then it leaves you fkd for game 5.

A little bit of a misrepresentation, since most were calling for Straw to be in there vs IKF. It just so happened to burn them on both errors. But its not a terrible decision to have IKF in the game for his glove, he just f***ed up. I personally thought there might be an issue in LF with Davis trying to run something down in the gap or near the line, which wasn't the case. But you could easily argue that 2nd error doesn't happen with Straw in LF.

He completely stopped running for a decent amount of time though. Easily gets there if he calls Barger off. Just a stupid play that we make 99 times out of 100. Probably made worse by the fact Barger was fresh off the bench and that was probably the first flyball he saw not realizing how bad the wind was.

Im tellin you man, fkn ghost of Babe Ruth blowing the winds around in the Yankees favor. Wind clearly wasn't blowing that direction for the Judge homerun.

Overmanaged in what way? The only time i felt he overmanaged so far was game 2, using way to many arms while we were up by a huge amount.

Coincidently that game also had a great second basemen (Espinal) make an error early on which led to Gausman throwing more pitches and being yanked early.

They did the same thing Vs Seattle and leaving JBJ on the bench.

Against high velocity? no. Clement has been hot as hell too

It was also all 7-game series, but still. Yes sweeps are rare.

This SHOULD be the alignment tomorrow. I really hope they don’t go with IKF again somewhere because he’s “good against fastballs” Should be Ernie, Barger, Lukes getting the start tomorrow.
