  1. It's actually really embarrassing.
  2. So apparently - Results = runs against but Results != things that lead to runs against Ok.
  3. Oh, just fastball command. Well then.
  4. Guys, Gruber made the IBL in his younger days. This literally changes everything.
  5. That would be the best route. There are a few GMs as backwards as you. Unfortunately AA is one of them.

    In the conference? Easily.
  7. Gruber600 projection algo: Take 32 PA, extrapolate to 600 PA and then sprinkle in some BlueJays homerism and scoutingisms. Seems legit.

It really does seem like a dumb move.
  9. No, he has not been ok this year. He has been sub replacement level garbage. Might he become ok (as in a usable 5th starter)? Maybe, though I'd bet against it.
  10. A dubious but tenable position: Aaron Sanchez might turn into a good pitcher. A position that exposes that you know nothing about baseball: Aaron Sanchez has been ok this year. If you you fall into the latter category, it's time to just lurk for a while. Unless you're JimCanuck. He's obviously hopeless.
  11. Don't mention sample size and then throw out a random, round number (100). Garbage post.
  12. And do you know the main reason why the league average goes down to 2.8? The s***** young pitchers (like Aaron Sanchez) don't get better, they fall out of the sample. They are out of the league. How is that not obvious. Think a little bit. Good f***ing god.
  13. Do you have any idea how stupid you look when you compare Aaron Sanchez to Randy Johnson?
  14. All teams obviously get worse when their best pitcher gets hurt. Most teams have someone who, while not a superstar, can produce above replacement level innings when needed. The Jays do not have that.
  15. Descalfini is the type of guy good teams plug into the back of their rotation when better guys (Stroman) get hurt.
  16. The Jays rotation went from (True talent WARz): 3.5 2 2 2 0 to 2 2 2 0 0 It was slightly below average before Stroman's injury to f***ing heinous. Subbing replacement level shitplugs in does not constitute depth in any way. The roster construction has been an abomination in AA's tenure. Where did the team's "depth go"? The Marlins and Mets deals obviously. Useful depth guys were shipped off and $ that could have been used to acquire a reasonable #4 starter or two was set on fire. That fall was about as bad a period a GM running a Toronto sports team has ever had.
  17. I find it really surprising that a clause like this was even allowed to be part of the contract in the first place.

When Geno is 100% healthy/motivated - easily top 5 C in the game. Unfortunately that combination is becoming more and more rare. He did seem genuinely embarrassed about getting shutout by the Rangers though. That might light a fire under him.
  19. Not too much of a case for Travis here yet. (And I do like him)
  20. I think I've already seen the numbers on the whole but Wikipedia is tracking the number of killings on a per month basis. Kind of crazy to see it in this format (at least I thought so). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_killings_by_law_enforcement_officers_in_the_United_States,_April_2015

Pretty glad I was too lazy to jump on the Raptors bandwagon. Someone let me know if we get Lebron or Wilt Chamberlain.
  22. Yea, former players totally make the best GMs.

Any sort of Datsyuk comp is pretty blasphemous.
