Morrow has back problem, may be scratched Brandon Morrow experienced back discomfort while throwing a side session Wednesday and will likely have his next scheduled start pushed from Friday to Sunday. That's what Blue Jays manager John Gibbons told MLB Network Radio on Thursday morning. It's unfortunate timing for Morrow, who had a pretty good outing last weekend against the Mariners. The Jays have all sorts of issues. -
Morrow doubtful for his next outing.

Justin Jackson, RHP: Converting from SS; Fastball 91-94; slider 76-77 with lazy break; changeup 74-77; obvious arm speed reduction; fastball comes out free and easy; does not maintain front side of his mechanics; super athletic. The fastball looks like it could be something, but the secondary stuff needs massive amounts of work. Jackson will stay in extended and look to improve as a pitcher
