  1. We already have a version of "Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde" in Morrow, 2/5 would be an exaggeration (Ubaldo). The Jays need a consistent rotation (Health and productivity), we must dispel the doubts in our rotation adding +30 outings starters; guys like Buehrle but more talented.
  2. welcome smart dude. http://josepjroca.files.wordpress.com/2013/08/3103122-captain-obvious.jpg
  3. Nolasco ~7K , 2BB, 0.8 (K, BB, dingers)/9, 42% GB + Marlins D (Jose Reyes, Hanley Ramirez, Hermida, Uggla, Morrison, Jacob, Coghlan, Cantu, Gary Sanchez, Bonifacio)
  4. Nolasco 13 AAV + Stroman/Sanchez >>> Samardzija - Stroman/Sanchez
  5. Gomez-Gose first 2 season Gomez - 21 years old - 139 PA .232/.288/.304, .261 wOBA Gomez - 22 years old - 614 PA .258/.296/.360, .291 wOBA Gose - 21 years old -189 PA .223/.303/.319, .280 wOBA Gose - 22 years old -153 PA .259/.283/.408. .300 wOBA
  6. I agree. Rasmus is a solid starter (~4 WAR) and Gose is a wait and see guy. So far Gose is a 4th OF but has tools that could turn him into a solid starter. Rasmus is gold but he's not controllable for several years. btw BJ Upton got tons of dollars
  7. Maybe a pinch runner called Billy Hamilton?
  8. Welcome. Bienvenido.
  9. The Cubs will adds 1 to 2 arms from Rule 5 draft to his bullpen, in other words, His major league team will be an instructional team.
  10. NO mi querido amigo, NO. The Cubs are rebuilding, they don't need relievers. Gose, Nolin, Drabek, Jimenez are s***; Hutchison is semi-s*** (TJS guy). No Stroman-Sanchez, No deal.
  11. NO. Arismendy Alcantara is in da house.
  12. Jesse Crain 2,0 deal
  13. Janssen out
  14. Sanchez, Pillar and Norris --------> or 1st rounf pick, Pillar and Nolin?
  15. Great job dude. Continue educating the dinosaurs.
  16. Stoeten ""In terms of cost? It’s slightly terrifying. I wrote last month about some spitballin’ that Cubs fans and writers were doing in this regard, which had them come up with Kyle Drabek and Daniel Norris as the keys guys to build a package around– in which case, giddy up!– but obviously you’d have to think that Chicago would be pressing hard for someone like Aaron Sanchez or Marcus Stroman. Maybe not. Maybe “package” implies quantity over quality, to an extent. And, I mean, exactly how much bigger would a package have to be than six years of one of those guys for two of the Shark?? I’d like to think that a deal without them can actually be done. The Cubs no longer have two of the three primary outfielders they used in 2013, having moved Alfonso Soriano and David DeJesus. Another outfielder of thiers, Nate Schierholtz, has been drawing trade interest. The remaining Junior Lake, Ryan Sweeney, and Brian Bogusevic can seem to handle centre (though nobody knew that about Lake until he got to the big leagues last year, where he played the position for the first time), but maybe there’s interest in something like several years of Anthony Gose.""
  17. Chris King "Smoral first outing was really bad. No life on FB and was sitting 89-91. Didn't throw the slider but maybe twice" "Last 3 outings his velo is back up around 91-93 touched 94. Slider was sharp and he was locating it well. Swing & misses"
  18. Smoral was overrated (No heat). He could be the next Mark Hendrickson. lol
  19. Dj Davis, Alford, Jake Anderson, Tellez, Brentz, Urena, Tyler Gonzales
