    Listen, we as a society have decided that women are to be protected. That is perfectly rational. Literally every animal species on earth protects their females first and foremost. It's like what Bill Burr says, there are plenty of reasons to hit a woman but you just don't do it. We've all probably been in very serious arguments, and not hitting your wife or GF really isn't that hard.

    Free agent pay is not proportional to their projected WAR. For example, as a 6-7 WAR player, Rendon probably tops out at around 30MM or a bit more per year. A 3 WAR guy could make 20-25MM. Imo, you're more likely to overpay a mid-tier FA than a star.

    When I quit, I was young and naive. Also, this was before Yahoo shoved DFS in my face all the time. Also, this was before another 4 years of them improving nothing about the platform. I've gone to Fantrax and it sure does look a lot better than it used to. More than that, they seem pretty committed to improving the customer experience, with fantastic support that responds in minutes and constant feature additions. It's kinda like getting in at the ground level of an investment that's about to take off.

    I doubt Moustakas will accept his half of that. Donaldson, Moustakas would be good, but with all the payroll space we have, I'm throwing a ton of money and years at Rendon.
