  1. Writing for Rotoworld would be so easy because literally anything you write is more useful than what they are currently rolling out. For example, if you wrote about Carlos Carrasco, instead of pointing out that he's been pretty unlucky and it's a good time to buy low, you could just write about what you had for breakfast and that would be more useful than saying Carrasco sucks because ERA. Or, since you're not really making any kind of meaningful analysis anyway, save time and energy by writing "Carrasco suxxxxxxxxxxxxx"
  2. I liked the part where they cited a 4.5 k/bb as a reason he hasn't been that good.
  3. Rotoworld on Carlos Carrasco: Carlos Carrasco lost for the fifth time this season after serving up five runs in four innings Sunday versus the Orioles. Advice: Carrasco was victimized by Adam Jones for a solo home run in the first inning, then settled down until the fourth. Then, the Orioles mounted a rally with two outs, loading the bases on two singles and a walk. They plated three runs on an infield single followed by an outfield single. Carrasco started the fifth inning and allowed a leadoff single, ending his afternoon. Reliever Nick Hagadone allowed Carrasco's runner to score. Overall, Carrasco yielded seven hits and two walks while striking out three. He hasn't had the same magic he showed last year, as illustrated by his 4.35 ERA, 1.23 WHIP, and 77/17 K/BB ratio in 68 1/3 innings. He'll try to redeem himself in a weekend start against the Tigers in Detroit. (Rotoworld.com) 2.78 FIP/2.85 xFIP. Really "lost the magic" there rotoworld. Please feel free to go an inch below the surface at any time, thx.
  4. He was joking, bro.
  5. It gets worse. Google "Red Sox 5 aces" and you'll find this is not a solitary opinion. Boston media is the worst.
  6. Sure they could. I don't like that philosophy, personally, especially for pitchers. They are time bombs as is, why ignore further risk? Not like every skilled pitcher has some hitch in their delivery. I do enjoy how NJH has become a bio-mechanical whiz these days. I agree that I'm not a fan of Syndergaard's inverted X delivery and also worry that the weight of all those letters on the back of his jersey mess with his timing.
  7. I'm thinking the problem in that trade scenario might be on the other side of the coin. I can see Amaro desiring Sanchez, but can also see AA refusing to include him. All speculation of course but they have had an unreasonable stance on Sanchez for years, can't imagine much has changed.
  8. How good are you while you're not pitching?
  9. I find his posts pretty humorous.
  10. Don't knock it until you try it.
  11. Still selling Brandon Morrow plus s***** prospect for a pick.
  12. Looks like a glove first slap hitter. Jomar Reyes looks pretty interesting, though.
  13. Omg please don't ban moogy
  14. How can one possibly hate Darren O'Day?
  15. Why not? As long as the price isn't too high I say go for it. I hate that guy but the Jays becoming a better team is more important than my personal issues with cheering for Pigf***er McGee.
