Rotoworld on Carlos Carrasco:
Carlos Carrasco lost for the fifth time this season after serving up five runs in four innings Sunday versus the Orioles.
Advice: Carrasco was victimized by Adam Jones for a solo home run in the first inning, then settled down until the fourth. Then, the Orioles mounted a rally with two outs, loading the bases on two singles and a walk. They plated three runs on an infield single followed by an outfield single. Carrasco started the fifth inning and allowed a leadoff single, ending his afternoon. Reliever Nick Hagadone allowed Carrasco's runner to score. Overall, Carrasco yielded seven hits and two walks while striking out three. He hasn't had the same magic he showed last year, as illustrated by his 4.35 ERA, 1.23 WHIP, and 77/17 K/BB ratio in 68 1/3 innings. He'll try to redeem himself in a weekend start against the Tigers in Detroit.
