    Back in the Ricciardi era, John Gibbons was much maligned. For good reason? Maybe, I can't say personally as I was a huge moron at the time. One thing we definitely took away from his first tour of duty is that he doesn't take s*** from his players and he's not shy about getting in the umpire's face. This thread shall enshrine our champion as he deserves and defend his legacy from the outer evils known as Oriole fans, who think some shriveled prune is the best thing about their team.     You know, I was on the tweeter because I f***ing hate myself and ran across a tweet regarding a rule change in the NFL where lowering your helmet before contact is illegal now. So naturally, a bunch of people started complaining that they'd have to watch more commercials. Players are literally dying, and their concern is f***ing commercials. How much of a sack of s*** do you have to be, seriously.

    Man, I can't believe there was ever a time that I disliked Gibby. The guy is a f***ing legend. I think is a critically underrated manager and he's only getting better. I think these seasons with Shatkins at the helm have revealed that Gibby takes a large amount of direction from the FO, which is good...when you have a good FO. Now that we do, Gibby's decision making, bullpen usage and lineup construction are all improving and the team seems to really like him. Laid back and hilarious but when push comes to shove, he doesn't take any s***.
