    Agreed, through 5 games I can't recall a Jays season that opened with more consistently exciting baseball, even if it isn't the best team we've had. It genuinely feels like we are chasing a playoff spot in September, there's so much energy and charisma on the team. Oh, and Donaldson mocking whistle guy was f***ing fantastic.

    It would have been even more situational if Martin had bunted instead of hitting the homer. Then we could say that we can score runs without hitting homers.

    Wow, amazing. No one is complaining about Gibby despite him not doing anything particularly different the past 3 games. It's almost like the talent on the team wins games, not the manager?

    ok, just pretend that they were all doubles and throw in a few bunts and SEETCHYEWAYSHUNUL HEETING and MANYEWFAKCHURING RAWNS and I dunno. More bunts I guess if needed. I've been told many times that bunts lead to runs.

    Yeah the ball would have needed to miss him by half a foot for these blind old f***s to overturn it. We were beneficiaries with the Yankees, though, when Smoak came off first. He wasn't off first by a full yard, though, so call stood.
