    ML contract makes this interesting. Good bench piece in a vacuum though I wouldn't be surprised if he's the veteran stopgap at SS that Atkins was talking about.

    It's because scouting grades are retarded. Hitting is more than contact and power but scouting reduces it to that. Vlad won't be fast, probably won't be a great fielder though the arm might be pretty good. So plus hit + power, MAYBE + arm. 2-3 tool player fits. In essence he isn't wrong. Yeah, how does that feel, bitch?

    If you listened to the interview, Josh brought up that some guys would literally live off PBJ from the spread. When you're that poor, it's pretty hard to be fat. I mean, there's a reason Haiti isn't known as a fat country.

    He didn't get a huge bonus and we know from talking to Wincky that minor leaguers don't get paid in extended and next to nothing in SS. How can he afford to be that fat? Also, yeah, didn't factor in that he's 5'9". Frustrating because there's clearly a very good hitter in there but if he stays that fat, surely he can't catch long term or his knees will explode. On the plus side, that gut will definitely help boost those HBP numbers
