    Or we could just move the draft up a couple of weeks... Is that not easier? It's not like you can glean any information from the tiny samples, if they even play. Plus, to Hurl's point about stat scouting, doesn't this reward the people keeping an eye on the young Latinos in the international market? Unlike the couple of weeks that you'd get from highschool/college draftees, you currently get a full year from the international boys.

    Not even a mention of Julian Merryweather lol Yeah for all the poo-pooing on this farm for lack of arms, we have a pretty decent group. Merryweather, Paulino, Thornton, Zoinks, SRF, Pearson and Pannone are all pretty close to ML ready and then there are lots of younger interesting dudes like Pardinho, Kloffenstein, Winckowski.

    Chris Sale looks like he's made out of toothpicks. I guess this is the time for the "best shape of his life" tropes but Jon Gray adding weight probably isn't going to do anything for his performance. It will be a convenient excuse when he reverts to form, though.

    You have to keep in mind that we have one of the worst fanbases in all of baseball. At the HO, a bunch of idiot Leaves fans who can't afford hockey tickets just go to the baseball game instead, get drunk and then get bored because they don't really like baseball and have the attention spans of fleas. Then they act like morons for the entire game. The second game is fine. Good thing about having a bad team is that all the dumb casuals stop coming to games so tickets are cheap and the people are cool.

    Hurl brought up 2013 AA which I think could fit Preller. He's tried (and failed) to cobble together a competitive roster in one offseason before.
