    Ya, I heard his ceiling is around a 3-4 starter. I feel it is a bit rushed but I am fine with it, we do not have many other options available.

    That thread was made by someone who thought he was already up with the club, and provided no evidence to support his claim. I actually posted an article written by Shi Davidi saying that it is now expected that he starts Friday, basically confirming it. I apologize if you do not agree with the new thread, but I don't see why it's that bad of a thing.

    Just saw this on my twitter feed. I was expecting them to drop a reliever, but I did not expect them to call up Gose. I thought they were going to call up Sierra.

    If called up, would we use him as a SP or RP? What do you guys think? With the state of our rotation I'd like to see him start, but that might make him more susceptible to injuries.

    Still though, this is inexcusable. Mistakes are understandable, but the integrity of the game is worsened by such horrible calls. This umpire should be suspended, this is ridiculous.

    I agree in calling up Negrych and Thole, can't hurt.

    Last start, Romero looked really good for the first 3 innings and he looked confident and happy. After he walked the first batter in the 4th, you could tell something changed, the confidence he garnered throughout the first 3 innings disappeared. While this may be a mechanical issue, unable to throw the pitch over the plate, I have that feeling that he just is not mentally stable, he doesn't believe in himself and has no confidence in his abilities.
