There is no way in gods green earth that Arod gets a lifetime ban for this. There is no precedence that is even close. The union would crucify the MLB owners if this ever happened.
The guy used and tested if he tested positive...there is a prescribed penalty for that.
There is proof that he used but never tested...well that is the grey area (where they are making it up as they go along), but Braun tested positive, got off on a technicality, acted like a huge douche, and tried to cover it up for a year and a half...he got 60+ games.
Arod could have tried to burn the Biogenisis clinic to the ground, gave oral pleasure to everyone who ever supplied him, and s*** right on Selig desk and he still wouldn't get a lifetime ban. MLB still has a union that would appeal a suspension like that til the ends of the earth.
