  1. Apart from Pompey, nothing coming up that will really help the team....but damn do the Jays ever hate Delabar, not sure why he wasn't traded earlier.
  2. Am I the only one who expects something terribly wrong before the season is over? I still remember in 87 feeling like the Jays had a pretty comfortable lead in the ALE until that Bill Madlock motherf***er took out Tony Fernandez with an egregious slide while breaking up a double play. Jays ending up giving up a 2-1/2 game lead in the final week of the season. Appreciate the fact the Jays are playing good ball right now, But no guarantees until the champagne gets popped.
  3. Bringer of Popups!
  4. Meh, Revere is the perfect #9 hitter in an AL lineup, slap hitter who can use his speed to get on base for the big boppers, not enough power to be driving many runners in; although maybe he'll start trying to swipe a few more bags with Pillar and Goinsington hitting behind him.
  5. Had a good LOL at the AL list...Archer and Sale ranked below Mark Buehrle
  6. Way to commit you f***ing pussy!
  7. Stop with the f***ing bunting......jesusf***ingchrist
  8. Portobello haters can "STICK IT!"
  9. Why is having ample stadium parking A bad thing?
  10. If I never see Loup pitch another inning in a Jays uniform that would be alright by me!
  11. The Yankees have traditionally been Buehrle's kryptonite, I'm sure the Jays are happy with the way the rotation has setup over the past couple weeks. If push comes to shove, I wouldn't be opposed to skipping a few Hutch's starts if he can't pull his head out of his ass.

  13. Still amazed that this team's management believes Kawasaki provides more value than Valencia, it's kind of embarrassing actually
  14. Not sure why we wouldn't have kept Doubront on the roster, thought he was pretty decent albeit in a small sample size, rather they have shitcanned like Loup and kept Felix as swingman out of the bullpen.
  15. Im also in favor of anything that gets Jerry Jones man-panties in a twist
  16. Meh, its a dick move by a player who is a complete asshat, but the NFL is a different animal in pro sports, such short careers and very few guaranteed contracts, guys need to use their leverage to maximize their earnings when they have it, cause it can all be gone with one freak injury. Never be a better time for Dez to cash in than right now, can't blame him at all.
  17. I'll be out for the weekend. Have gone to Seattle a multiple times, most any hotel in the Seattle greater downtown core (except if your on the north end over by Key Arena/Space needle) is walking distance to the stadium (15-20 mins). Even if you are over there, there is a monorail which you can jump on and will get you to the other end of downtown. I've stayed on the outskirts of the city, but much prefer staying downtown and walking to Safeco, traffic can suck on game days, and parking downtown is pricey. I've found a few deals on 4+ star hotels on hotwire over the years, but looks like everything is jacked up right now.
