  1. So do you just ignore the sudden spike in hr/fb rate? I realize he was unlucky, but luck wasn't his only problem.
  2. f***ing Reyes. I really hope this is just a minor injury and not the FO playing head games with us.
  3. Are you seriously trying to say Johnson didn't perform poorly last season?
  4. I think we need a larger sample before we go putting a "top 5 defensive second baseman" label on him.
  5. Do we really need to see Happ pitch another inning? Just send him to the dl or dfa please.
  6. Lawrie just missed that one, he's not happy about it either.
  7. Ryan Howard looking pretty stupid on the last couple plays.
  8. Melky looks great. If he stays healthy I'm expecting a big season.
  9. Happ actually looked pretty good there outside the four pitch walk to Revere.
  10. He clearly won't fill an everyday role, having Melky in CF for a few innings here and there isn't going to hurt this team. The way you overreact to just about every single decision the Jays make is laughable.
  11. You've clearly come to the wrong place to ask a question like this. Sarcasm, pessimism and negativity is all you will find here.
  12. That seems like a bit much.
  13. I'd take them both...they look like they'd prefer it that way.
  14. As a Jays fan I've come to expect s*** like this.
  15. http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/events/winterleagues/league.jsp?league=car Sierra .331/.401/.435/.836
  16. I'm not overly concerned with the minor league results. It wouldn't be the first time a player from the DR took a little extra time to find his stride, it wasn't all that long ago we were all skeptical of EE and Bautista.
  17. Or any games since September of last season. If you can't see that Sierra has a great approach at the plate right now your blind, he's taking tough pitches and hitting mistakes hard.
  18. Why? He's looked good with the bat since Sept of last season, he's looked decent in the OF so far this spring, he has a cannon for an arm, and I haven't seen any of the baserunning nonsense we witnessed late last season.
  19. This is true but you didn't use the word potential.
  20. No they didn't. Seitzer claimed he could see him being a .270/.280 hitter with the potential to hit .300.
  21. It's still a clear violation of the rules. The fact that Miami put a s*** team with a petty payroll on the field last year is irrelevant. Would Boston use that same lineup in a spring training game against the Yankees? I obviously can't say they wouldn't but I highly doubt it.
  22. My comments are based on the back issues not the results. I'm fully expecting to see Happ start the season on the DL.
