I've got a feeling this is going to be an extremely active offseason for AA. Can't wait to see which starter we deal, I'm really hoping it's Dickey and his sidekick.

You obviously weren't around in 92. Just in case you've somehow missed this. A's haven't won a World Series since 89. I'll take a couple world championships over a bunch of playoff flops all day. Not so sure about the A's future either. Billy Beane needs to work some magic to if they want to remain contenders in 2015.

Just because the deadline deals didn't work out for the A's doesn't mean they don't ever work out. Beane made some very high risk deals and they backfired. Very few deadline deals are as risky as the ones Beane pulled off. I have no problem at all with Bautista calling out managment on the decision to not add anyone at the deadline. Simmons looks like an idiot here. -
