    Osuna isn't even 21 and your ready to label him a career reliever? Pillar's bat is fine in CF as long as the defense remains above average.

    I believe he's a first baseman in the KBO. No idea what his defense is like there though, can't see it being very good.

    Ya, because no player has ever been successful after making an adjustment to there approach at the plate. Another season like 2015 in the KBO and I'd be surprised if Thames doesn't find himself a guaranteed MLB deal.

    Agreed. However, after looking at both a little closer I can see the resemblance. I still believe Pillar to be the better player and the extra years of control are a huge difference in value. I might be one of the few that don't think Pillar has peaked. Pillar has a lot more power as well, something that should be considered when discussing outfielders.

    Pillar isn't even arb eligible until 2018 and it's yet to be seen if this is his best season. Defense is being valued more than ever, so I'm no seeing the accuracy here. Pillar is much more valuable than a fringe reliever no matter how you spin it.

    This. Pillar plays harder than Rasmus ever did and i dont hear him complaining.

    I was only half joking. I really wouldn't expect him to retire, but one year contracts allow him to walk away whenever he wants. Agreed. If he doesn't perform this season it wouldn't be an absolute shock to see him retire.

    Glad the Jays didn't win the bidding. Unless the numbers I looked at were wrong, Eric Thames had a better season than this guy. I'm happy to watch some other team conduct a $40M experiment.

    I agree 100%. I thought bringing in Sanchez in with a runner on second was beyond stupid, use Lowe or Hendricks and hope for a K.

    It doesn't. Anything over 3 and 30-35 should be enough incentive for him to decline. I think he gets that.

    I think he gets the QO. We just paid Buehrle near $40 million. I'd take my chances with Estrada at 14 and hope he declines.

    What a joke. Do you honestly believe these guys would be ok with a first round exit? Wake up man, they won the division and celebrated just like every team that wins their division. This series isnt even close to over.

    Trout's team didn't make it to the playoffs. I'd be shocked if Donaldson isn't the 2015 AL MVP.
