    MLB should modify the balls somehow to make strikeout rates come down instead.

    Think they would just ride it out with Bryant on his final year if they can't even get a real prospect for him. A player they might give away is Jason Heyward, contract is too risky though and OF isn't too big of a concern.

    On one hand I hate expanded playoffs but on the other hand I don't ever want to go through 15 years of fandom only seeing the Jays make the playoffs twice again.

    I always liked the old Florida Marlins logo and unis. This current look is wack. They copped the Miami Vice look but muted it and made it less stylish.

    Didn't the price come down because the Red Sox wanted to get rid of the price contract too? And they still got Alex Verdugo who is a stud. Anyways, I wouldn't be sad if we gave up Cavan+ for Lindor if we could sign him to a long term contract.

    Cbs doesn't have a cable sports channel so the only other option that MLB is not on yet is nbc and how we'll have that worked out for the nhl? I don't think nhl is anymore popular in america. ESPN is still many times more popular than the NBC sports Network even if they're treated as second class citizens on ESPN.

    I mean we've got a pretty nice core already and haven't been rebuilding as long as the padres. And AJ Preller will probably f*** it up anyways.

    He could hit like Olerud but he would probably still field like Prince Fielder and not be a borderline HoFer unfortunately.

    Before he went out for injury he was hitting plenty of dongs. And the guy's damn cute, I don't want him to be Muscle Bichette like his father. He and Grichuk are carrying the attractiveness of this team, they don't need another fatty.

    That's nutty. How much do we trust fangraphs' catcher metrics? Votto has a godly slashline and is one of the best hitters of his generation so that would probably make a better case to HoF voters than fWAR

    Votto seems kinda done? I hope not because I want him to lock down his hall of fame case.

    Teoscar is not the kind of hitter that can protect against a 100 mph fastball and also a breaking pitch while making contact. He had to choose one.

    Yep, Teoscar just can't sit fastball and adjust quick enough to foul off a breaking pitch. Was just laying off any breaking pitch and hoping it will be a ball but unfortunately it was down the midddle.

    I would like an adjustment to interleague play too. We have so many games and we only get some matchups once in a few years. We only get to see the jays go to Wrigley or Dodger Stadium like once in 6 years?
