Put it into perspective compared to his last 18 months... It's a step forward. I don't think he should be called up at all in 2013. I say let him have this season to just relax and play. He can compete for the #5 in ST next year.

Tried to put this in the other thread, but it's closed... Some positive results from Ricky... http://www.sportsnet.ca/baseball/mlb/romero-improving-throws-six-scoreless-for-buffalo/ Still 3 walks, but it's nice to see him getting a bit deeper into the game. Anybody see any of the game? Did you notice any big changes to Rickey's approach?

Not if you're influenced by Andrew Freidman's business model... gotta keep turning over the talent. The true genius does it by getting max value for your players... James Shields-type deals where the return is a franchise player. Not saying I'd do the deal, but I definitely wouldn't be opposed to seeing what's there. Maybe throw Olt into the package and we'll add something...yada, yada, yada -

That's why I asked on here... I seem to remember it being something like 3 AB's / team game or something like that... not sure really EDIT Just took my own advice and took it to google... 502 plate appearances (or 3.1 per game played by that player's team)...

Is Lind going to have enough at bats to qualify for the batting title? I know he hasn't been full time, but will he have time to qualify if he gets a few more starts now? Love to see him in the Top 10 by season's end.

Seems a bit surprising considering Blanco caught Dickey's last start... I didn't see the game... Does he make a difference catching or is he replacement-ish?
