  2. Serves us right, honestly I'd usually back Bautista for his comments, but after the piss poor performance 8/9 of our batters have given us the first 2 games no one should be pointing the fingers at anyone but themselves. I don't know how JD is the only one making things happen with no leg and no hip lol he's the only one capable of adjusting, very majestic swing
  3. hell yeah that's true lol look at half our discussions it's who would we give up what for, payroll money, etc lol
  4. This is just embarrassing for us now!
  5. Blair said something the other day that's really funny. Toronto's the only city where the fans wanna be in the GM instead of the manager lmao
  6. He's been better! Lower xFIP (1.18!!!!), higher K/9, lower BB/9 and more innings thrown. He's been crazy good and worth the price for Cleveland. Fun fact as well, 0.15 xFIP in the post-season with a 19.96 K/9. wtf lol
  7. Yes they have, Mike Clevenger takes the ball
  8. Shieeet I'd even say the 6th! Francona's usage of Miller has been bonkers
  9. I'm not talking about Miller. I think we can all agree when Miller is in, it's game over. I'm talking about Tomlin, and even like you said Cody Allen. If they're not throwing fastballs and instead breaking pitches then you adjust. If Klubers outside pitch keeps getting called then stop looking at it expecting it to be called a ball, take a swing.
  10. Yes he has, I'm not saying he didn't, I'm saying he's on my list of people who I expect to make the adjustment. Everyone else on that list though... not so much lol
  11. He has the second most strikeouts in this year's postseason behind Kershaw lol
  12. Yes I completely agree with you, kudos to them, but our hitters should have realized this and adjusted their game. Doesn't even need to be the Pillars, but the disciplined ones like Donaldson, Bautista, Edwin and Tulo should at least be able to adjust
  13. Francona says that he has a meeting with the pitching coach about how many pitches they can get out of him being effective that day. The problem is they probably keep agreeing on 20 pitches and right now that's enough for 2 innings lol
  14. Can we also please not forget this point too? Whenever Martin gets us a call we call it elite framing but when Perez does it for his team it's bad umping. Dude has done a phenomenal job pulling that outside pitch back in the zone. s***** umps like Laz Diaz and Jim Wolf don't stand a chance in making the correct call on those framed pitches, especially when we're on the road
  15. Yes, I agree with you we've been getting bad calls called against us, especially this one which i'm still scratching my head about: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W8blFAVVxn0&feature=youtu.be&t=4702 However, my point is this is normal. I didn't feel like we got jerked like we have been before by Jim Wolf or like Caparazza or a few other games this season. We haven't been able to get hits, Bautista has one of his strike zone plots with a "bad call" where he fouled a ball that was right down the middle. Cleveland have done a great job pitching to our batters keeping them off balanced, but there was no one making adjustments to try and play with the circumstances. If the Jays realize the pitch on the outside corner has been called a strike incorrectly for the past 2 innings, then stop taking it and try to foul it off or go the other way instead of bitching about it. Literally this entire series has went in the direction of the Indians exploiting something, then sticking with it because our batters decide to not alter their plan at the plate. I'm still baffled that Tomlin was able to get away with throwing a curve 50% of the time. Literally after the first 2 or 3 innings someone should have said "eliminate every pitch other than the curve ball" because every 2nd pitch will be that, instead they were striking out like files.
  16. lmao we got served. The indians have a great Twitter account
  17. Yeah I know, but especially in the first game, the calls were going both ways. Lots of questionable calls all around (what do you expect from a group with Laz Diaz and Jim Wolf) but nothing like the adventures with Caparraza. This is just bad umping in general, we're not getting targeting, and our players should be ashamed if that's what their excuse is going to be. The first game I understand that was Kluber, but the second game was mind boggling, Tomiln was throwing a curve close to 50% of the time and we were going down like flies, we seriously couldn't adjust and look breaking ball? Or was that the umps fault too?
  18. Man have you guys seen Bautistas comments? It's embarrassing lol you're striking out because you're not making contact Joey not because of the ump...
  19. some Cubs BS going on here lol Montero one ups Gonzalez with the bases loaded himself lol
