  1. Awesome! Can you lock the old one?
  2. Studying for exams lol, my final exams is in a couple of days so I shifted into another gear and I'm studying like crazy, questions left and right Yay! What do I win??
  3. Uhh well lets see, if you're talking about easy to move assets: Lind - No, they have Alonso Janssen - No, they have Street Arencibia - No, they have Grandal Bonifacio - Maybe, but they do have Amerista Rasmus - Sure, but they do have Maybin (DL) Johnson - Yes Long-er term assets? Reyes - I don't think they like his contract, and unless Cabrera gets busted, they don't need a shortstop Buherle - It's a fit, nice big NL ballpark, but probably a last option.... too much $$$ Melk-man - Yes In general, SD I think isn't much of a fit for us
  4. Judging by this video: http://mlb.mlb.com/video/play.jsp?content_id=28109019&c_id=mlb&topic_id=vtp_head_and_shoulders and without looking at the AB pitch-by-pitch, strikeouts #4 and #9 were lolz
  5. LOL hahaha that happened to me once, but I fixed it before I handed it in lol. I picked Cs and Ds for T/F questions when I had like not time left for a Physics test
  6. That's not happening, and neither is Bautista/Lawrie at 3B/2B lol. Something goes wrong everytime they switch positions, injuries or hitting problems, etc. leave Bautista out there with his godly arm in RF and EE with his good picks at 1B and Lawrie's GG glove at 3B and build from there.
  7. No it's locked lol
  8. A decent starter or a good position player maybe? It would be incredible if we throw Arencibia into the package for Janssen + Lind for Lucroy and someone....
  9. The worry is, how is he post-hot streak? Lind + Jannsen package. Someone out there will be interested in a hot hitting 1B with an option + a lethal closer. Brewers maybe?
  10. 6 DAMN GAMES IN A ROW!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! This is what Oakland must have felt like a year ago! These wins are definitely keeping me from going insane with exam studying.... which is also the reason for the delays in the past few days, my bad, but Chem and Math don't study themselves and nor do exams write themselves Scoring Plays: Bottom of the 8th: Jays score (Jays lead 2-0): Maicer Izturis comes through again! After breaking up the no-no in the 6th, he hits a bloop single in between Colvin and Fowler to score in Rajai Davis and the smart Colby Rasmus! 11. Eh, not concerning, how is his velo I wonder? That and versatility is all that matters in the rehab stints right now
  12. Yeah, it's just Zaun though. He really shouldn't be taken seriously Although he has a point about Wang, he's pitched well in AAA and so far in the MLB, he should keep his spot until Happ comes off the DL. Rogers shouldn't have to kill his arm, we can use his 'Villy-utility' style later on in the season if something goes wrong again
  13. Yeah but in the bulk of the action, where he's been able to hit many homers and drive in runs, his BABIP is close to .500! His .396 BABIP is taking in the fact that April he owned an average BABIP of .275, which really shows you how much this run of the last few games have really taken the spotlight for him. We'll see about that though, Loney's been having a lot of 0/4 nights and his average is only dipping. But as for Lind, he should be fine if the BABIP regresses, he'll be back to being a decent 5/6 hitter that can still probably hit 20 bombs and walk a lot while keeping a high .290 average... that's just me though
  14. But the fact that among all active players, the highest BABIP in an active career is .366 along with the fact that there are only 10 players with a BABIP north of .350 in their career probably means that Lind is going to crash down. Lets hope it's after the deadline though, and we sell high
  15. http://i.imgur.com/BpVSv7K.png Pitching Matchup: http://i.imgur.com/EmBYKuP.png SP - Josh Johnson (31.2 IP, 13 BB, 8.24 K/9, 3.69 BB/9, .289 BAA, .337 BABIP, 4.61 FIP) [R] http://i.imgur.com/QUQ8pKn.png SP - Jorge de la Rosa (80.0 IP, 27 BB, 5.96 K/9, 3.04 BB/9, .262 BAA, .350 BABIP, 3.64 FIP) [R] Lineups: http://i.imgur.com/K8ePxSj.png Make your picks for the first homer contest hosted by Dylan! (Click the image below!) http://i1312.photobucket.com/albums/t538/BlueJays20131/Title_zpsecbb6372.jpg Jays Batting: Actual Batting: http://i.imgur.com/cg752YO.png Projections http://i.imgur.com/gsqpo4q.png Rockies Batting: Actual Batting: http://i.imgur.com/X7MS0C3.png Projections http://i.imgur.com/bpMQMXY.png Notes: Rockies:: Michael Cuddyer has been a great veterin player for the Rockies, with a 14 game hit streak (.383 and 2 homers) that helps his BA rise to .337 (along with 10 big flys) and gives the Rockies one of the strongest outfield in baseball with CarGo and Fowler hitting well too. With his ability to play 1B too, he can also provide them with a solid option at 1B when Helton retires if they need to fit another outfielder everyday. Fowler has hit well against Johnson with a 4/6 line and two doubles Both teams come into this game with winnings streaks. The Jays finished a 4 game sweep of the Rangers and a White Sox victory last week gives the Jays a 5 game winning streak, while de la Rosa will try to push the Rockies win streak to 3 games. Jays: Since the Jays found themselves 11 games under .500 (10-21) they turned things around in a good way, so good that they own the best AL record in that timeframe of 22-15. Since coming off the DL, Johnson has 2 starts with 3 or less runs given up. He has been dealing with a blister on his finger, but he has the green light to pitch tonight The Jays have a 12-0 record against the Rockies, sweeping them in three-game series twice in both 2002 and 2007 each. Guess what's popping in Dunedin, Florida? They have a leadoff hitter by the name 'Jose Reyes' and a starting pitcher by the name of 'Brandon Morrow' in their game tonight! While Morrow doesn't seem to have a limit as of yet, Jose Reyes is only playing for 5-6 innings. Gibbons expects both players to move up a level in their rehab assignments before being activated JA Happ is expected to throw a side session in the next few days. Please leave feedback and ideas/improvements for future GDTs!
  16. lol but seriously, is his .493 BABIP (so almost 1 hit drops in 2 balls batted in play) in his blazing hot month of 25 games is not a point of concern at all, nor is it an indication that we should sell as high as possible on him before he crashes back down to earth? I mean I know this isn't the best comp. but James Loney had a month of .400 BABIP and when that dropped he's really taken a hit to his average, and therefore productivity (From .360+ to now .307 I believe)
  17. I haven't heard much about his bad but I do know this: Plus defender with a cannon for an arm. And the dude had TJS last year..... he has a f***ing rocket. He should be able to hit decently, but his D will keep him in the Majors. I can't wait until he's up here
  18. I have a question, is his .396 BABIP not a concern? Also the fact that his last 30 days are what put him here..... with a .493 BABIP in his last 25 games?
  19. .396 BABIP scares me. This is another James Loney case. When his BABIP fell from .400 to .316 (now) his BA fell from .360+ to .307.... Lind is going to regress and I'd much rather him regress on another team while we enjoy our payment for cashing in. FA year + option/buyout = very costly to own him past the deadline Dealing with Beane? I don't like that lol, you might get burned. I think the A's could care less about a closer, Balfour is phenomenal and they have Cook + Blevens as setup men... also their 1B is Brandon Moss and although Moss can play the OF, it's stacked with Cespedes, Crisp, Young, Smith, and Reddick I wonder what the Brewers want for that package? 9th in team blown saves, and Janssen can help stabilize the 'pen. Also they have the lowest fWAR in the majors at 1B (-2.9!). Another candidate is the Mets (8th in team BS and 2nd lowest 1B fWAR), but given that they're not chasing playoffs and they raped us in the Dickey trade, I doubt anything happens
  20. I wouldn't be surprised if he goes with matchups until a solid piece/Santos arise. Probably between Oliver and Delebar. I am so down to trade Jannsen at the deadline, this is his highest trade value point. Closers are nice to have, but are valued at waaaaaaaaaaaaay more than they are worth. Some people trade everyday position players for a closer *cough*LowrieForMelancon*cough*. A package of Lind + Janssen to the right person can land something BIG.
  21. Yeah... after a call and a quick twitter search for 'Rogers Internet' near me, it wasn't only me. But it was a few people, not many. Probably just around my area or something. The internet would be on for 10 mins and cuts for 5-10 and comes back until 10am where it completely stopped lol. I left it and at 5 ish I started to get non-fluctuating internet
